Ingredients to make Prawn Sukke

  • 400 grms skin less prawn
  • 1/2 cup gratedcoconut
  • 2 tsp roasted coriander
  • 1/4 tsp roasted fennel
  • 4 medium size dried red chilli
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • (Make a paste out of the above ingredients )
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • (Mix all the above four ingredients with prawn...keep it for 15 minutes )
  • 1 chopped garlic
  • curry leaves
  • 2 tsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tsp oil

How to make Prawn Sukke

  1. Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves and chopped onion, saute it..
  2. Now add the coconut paste stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the marinated prawns and stir, let it cook.
  4. At last add tamarind paste again stir for 5 minutes.Serve hot.
