Yummy crunchy Samosas

Ingredients to make Yummy crunchy Samosas

  • maida 2 cups
  • Ajwain 1tsp hand crushed
  • ghee 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • potato 3/4 kg
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • green chillies finely cut
  • garlic pearls 4
  • ginger 1 inch grated
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • hing 1 tsp

How to make Yummy crunchy Samosas

  1. For the cover take maida in a big bowl, add hot ghee and crumble mix it with fingers.
  2. Add salt and knead the soft dough with warm water.
  3. Cover and keep for 1/2 hr
  4. Mean while prepare the stuffing by mashing boiled potatoes, add salt, sugar, green chillies, hing Asafoetida, coriander, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder. Mix well.
  5. Now take maida and form a lemon sized balls and roll roti. Cut into half and make cones and fill it with potato filling.
  6. Close cones with help of milk on finger and press with fingers firmly.
  7. Now in a kadhai keep oil for frying. When hot enough. Fry Samosas on medium flame.
  8. Yummy crunchy Samosas are ready.

My Tip:

Ghee should be hot and add more if required.

Some time bristles appear on samosa .why? how could we remove.
