Kardi Masala

Ingredients to make Kardi Masala

  • Kardi (small prawns) 250 gms
  • tomato 1
  • kokum 5 to 6
  • curry leaves few
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • oil as required
  • salt as per taste
  • Corriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • jeera powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • haldi 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp

How to make Kardi Masala

  1. Heat oil in pan, add chopped garlic, tomatoes, curry leaves, saute for a bit. Add kokum, all powdered masala and saute, then finally add the kardi (baby prawns).
  2. Cook prawns till oil separates garnish with coriander leaves.
  3. Serve hot with roti.

My Tip:

Clean and cook the prawns well.
