Ingredients to make Sabudana paddu

  • 1/4 cup sabudana paste (soak sabudana for 2 hours and grind it to paste )
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup curd + water to make smooth batter
  • oil as required
  • For the coconut chutney :
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh coconut
  • 2 green chilli
  • 3 garlic pods
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp tamarind juice
  • 1 tbsp soaked kabuli chana
  • salt to taste

How to make Sabudana paddu

  1. Take a bowl add all the ingredients and mix well to smooth batter
  2. Heat the appe pan or paddu pan smear oil
  3. Take spoonful of batter drop the batter in the appe cavity
  4. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame or until done
  5. Serve hot with coconut chutney
  6. Tasty Sabudana paddu with coconut chutney is ready
  7. For the chutney: Take a mixer jar, add all the ingredients and grind it to a fine paste. Add a little water to your coconut chutney if needed. Serve.
