Makhana coconut balls. It is made by leftover besan barfi, makhana barfi, coconut and khoya.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Khoya crumbled 1 cup
  2. besan barfi crushed 1 cup
  3. Makhana barfi crushed 1 cup
  4. sugar (Powdered) 1/4 cup
  5. coconut grated 1 cup (Dry)
  6. Milk 1/2 cup or as required
  7. Dry fruits chopped 1/4 cup
  8. coconut 2 tbsp (Extra)


  1. Heat a heavy vessel. Add in some oil and let it heat up.
  2. Fry khoya till it becomes light golden, keep aside on a plate.
  3. Next, heat crumbled makhana barfi for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep aside on a plate too.
  4. Heat crumbled besan barfi for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep aside in a plate.
  5. Mix milk, sugar, dry fruits, khoya, makhana barfi and besan barfi.
  6. Mix with hands, very well.
  7. Make balls and roll them in extra coconut to coat evenly. Serve.
