Coconut paan balls

Ingredients to make Coconut paan balls

  • dessicated coconut 1 cup+ 2 tablespoons
  • Milk made 2/2 cup
  • Paan leavs 4 finely chopped
  • Gulkand 5 teaspoons
  • Ghee or clarified butter 1 teaspoon
  • Green food colour a pinch
  • dessicated coconut for rolling the balls 2 teaspoons
  • Chopped dry fruits (almonds, pistachio, cashew nuts)

How to make Coconut paan balls

  1. Heat ghee in a non stick pan Add milk made n desicated coconut n sauthe at the same time take a bowl add gulkand and chopped nuts n mix well and keep aside for filling ..
  2. Cook on low for few minutes till it leaves sides
  3. Stir countinuesly so that it will not stick to bottom
  4. Now add paan leaves and green food colour
  5. Off the gass
  6. Let it cool down a bit
  7. Grees your hands with ghee and take small portion from the coconut mixture,flatten it and add add 1/2 teas spoon gulkand and dry fruit mixture and roll again to form a ball
  8. Roll the prepared balls in dedicated coconut and repeat the same process with the remaining balls
  9. Keep the paan balls in refrigerator for few hours and it's ready to eat ..enjoy
