Ingredients to make Rava cupcake (Semolina cupcake)

  • Rawa (semolina) 1 cup
  • flour 1 cup
  • butter 100 gms or 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 1/2 cup or 250 gms
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • mawa 1/2 cup
  • eggs 6
  • Baking powder 1 tsp

How to make Rava cupcake (Semolina cupcake)

  1. In a bowl add flour, baking powder and set aside. In another bowl beat eggs, vanilla extract together with the help of a beater and keep aside.
  2. In a big bowl add butter, sugar and cream it for 2 minutes. I used my hands for blending that well. Add mawa and keep mixing it for a minute.
  3. Add 1/3 of semolina, 1/3 of flour and mix. Then add 1/3 of egg mix. Repeat twice till all ingredients are used up. Stir for 2 minutes until well combined.
  4. Grease your cupcake moulds with a little butter. Pour the batter and bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven 180 degree centigrade.
  5. Cool and serve.
