Ingredients to make Vrat ki kachori

  • For Outer Layer-
  • 2 cups of boiled potatoes
  • salt as per taste
  • Chopped coriander
  • For Filling-
  • Grated fresh coconut 1/2 cup
  • Roasted cashews 2 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp chironji
  • 1tbsp kishmish
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Vrat ki kachori

  1. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
  2. Add salt and coriander to potatoes and mix well.
  3. In another bowl mix all the ingredients of the filling.
  4. Now take a small ball from the potato mixture and flatten it in your palms.
  5. Add 2tsp of filling in the centre and bring the edges together to enclose the coconut mixture .
  6. Repeat the process with rest of the ingredients.
  7. Deep fry on medium flame till golden and enjoy hot.
