Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Tulasi / Holy Basil leaves – 1 tblsp tightly packed
  2. Cardamom – 2
  3. Clove -1
  4. Water – 1000ml


  1. Take the leaves separately from the tulsi plant. Make sure the individual leaves collected are 1tblsp of measurement. Wash it thoroughly.
  2. Tear the cardamom.
  3. Take a pan add tulsi leaves, cardamom, clove and water.
  4. Allow this to boil. Boiling should be around 10 minutes so that the essence will get infused. Switch off the gas after the water is well boiled.
  5. Allow it to infuse in the water for another 30 minutes
  6. Filter the water by removing the tulsi leaves, clove and cardamom.
  7. Transfer the water into a water jug for serving.Serve warm or at room temperature.
