Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Double toned milk 1ltr
  2. 2/3 cup rice
  3. 1/2 cup Sugar
  4. Cardamom pwd- a pinch
  5. 10-12 Almonds

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak samak rice for 5 min. Cut the almonds into small peices and cardamom pwd to put into the kheer.
  2. # Boil the milk in heavy pan and add samak rice into it once the milk boil. Stir it continuously with a spoon after every 3-4 min. Take the spoon deep into the pan while stir it, so kheer do not get stick at the bottom.
  3. # once the rice gets tender, add almonds into it. Cook the mixture till the milk and rice get totally mixed into each other and reach to thick consistency. The milk and rice should fall together while dripping from the spoon. Add sugar into the kheer and mix it well. Turn off the flame.
  4. # samak rice kheer is ready. Garnish it with almonds.
