Navratri Special Beetroot Aloo Tikki

Ingredients to make Navratri Special Beetroot Aloo Tikki

  • potato - 4nos
  • Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
  • Beetroot - 1 small
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 3
  • Chat masala - 1 tsp
  • semolina - 3-4 tbsp
  • coriander leaves - A handful (finely chopped)
  • oil for frying
  • salt as required

How to make Navratri Special Beetroot Aloo Tikki

  1. Pressure cook the potatoes for 4 whistles. After cooking, crush the potatoes gently.
  2. Add bread crumbs, Green chilli, coriander leaves, Beetroot, salt, chat Masala.
  3. Mix together till they get blended well.
  4. Make small balls of the above mixture and flatten them a bit. Now coat with semolina.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Put the above tikkis into the oil and deep fry till they become golden brown and crispy.
  7. Now serve hot and enjoy it.
