Instant Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Instant Egg Fried Rice

  • Basmati rice 2 cups
  • Carrots, beans, peas, capsicum, cabbage 1 1/2 cup
  • spring onions 2 stalk
  • eggs 3 to 4 (beaten well)
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  • Soya sauce to taste
  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Ajinomoto (optional) 1/2 tsp
  • chilli sauce to taste (optional)
  • peeled chopped garlic 2 nos
  • oil 1 tsp

How to make Instant Egg Fried Rice

  1. Boil the rice and let them cool. It is better to use leftover rice.
  2. In wok or pan add oil.
  3. Add chopped garlic, saute it on a high flame, add spring onions whites and saute them nicely.
  4. Add all the veggies, quickly saute them on a high flame, add salt and pepper and mix well.
  5. Now corner all the veggies to one side, add beaten eggs and scramble them as much as you can and mix well with veggies.
  6. Now add rice and mix well.
  7. Add soya sauce and sugar to caramelise the rice.
  8. Add ajinomoto and chilli sauce, saute everything on a high flame.
  9. Do not break the rice while mixing.
  10. Finally add spring onions greens and transfer to a serving bowl.
  11. Garnish with some more spring onions and serve with any Chinese manchurian gravy.
