ABOUT Neer Dosa RECIPE

Mangalore special breakfast neer dosa.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 to 4 hours soaked rice 1 cup
  2. Greated coconut 1/4
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water as required
  5. oil as required

Instructions

  1. In a mixer jar, add soaked rice & grated coconut and grind it into a very fine paste.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the rice batter & water & mix it well. Batter should be very thin in consistency. Add salt & mix it.
  3. In a dosa tawa, heat 1 spoon oil on a high flame.
  4. Spread the neerdosa batter on tawa, close the lid for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the neer dosa with coconut chutney or tomato chutney or pickle.
