Ingredients to make Egg Curry

  • Boiled egg - 2
  • onion – 1
  • tomato – 2
  • Green chili – 2
  • ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • oil – 1 tbsp
  • salt – to taste
  • cilantro for garnish
  • cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
  • coriander – 1 tsp
  • pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Dried red chili - 2
  • cinnamon stick – ¼
  • clove – 1
  • star anise – ¼

How to make Egg Curry

  1. Dry roast the cumin seeds, coriander, pepper, dried red chili, clove, cinnamon stick and star anise until aromatic and allow it to cool down. Now in a blender grind it into powder.
  2. Chop onions and tomato. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions. Saute well, then add ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw flavour goes.
  3. Now add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, chili powder and salt. Mix well and saute till the tomatoes get mushy. Now add the ground powder in it and mix well.
  4. Now add boiled eggs in it and mix well. Pour ½ water in it and mix well. Allow the mixture to boil and when oil separates in the sides put off the flame and serve it.
