Diet Egg Burger

Ingredients to make Diet Egg Burger

  • Whole egg 2
  • Burger buns 2
  • Lettuce leaves as required
  • Hung curd 2 tablespoon
  • Salami sliced optional
  • tomato slice - 2
  • onion slice - 2
  • capsicum slice - 2
  • Finely shreded cabbage 1 small bowl
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mixed herbs optional
  • red chilli flakes optional

How to make Diet Egg Burger

  1. Mix the shredded cabbage with the hung curd with a bit of salt and pepper and reserve.
  2. Take the eggs and break it into separate ramekins. Prick the yolks with toothpicks Sprinkle salt and pepper and microwave for 2 minutes, when done scoop it out with a spoon Reserve it
  3. Take the burger bun and slit from middle lightly, roast it for few minutes from all sides
  4. Now start assembling: Take the lower half of burger bun, put the lettuce leaves. Spread the cabbage prepared with hung curd. Place salami slice, tomato slice, onion slice, capsicum slice, microwaved egg.
  5. Sprinkle herbs and chilli flakes as required. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve.

My Tip:

Top the burger with English mustard or low fat mayo if you wish.
