Egg Burger

Ingredients to make Egg Burger

  • Burger Bun - 1
  • Cheese slices - 2
  • egg - 1 
  • onion - 2 round slices
  • cucumber - 2 round slices 
  • capsicum - 2 round slices 
  • tomato - 2 round slices 
  • Lettuce or any salad leaf - 1 leaf
  • tomato ketchup as required 
  • Sandwich spread as required (you can use mayonnaise or any other spread) 
  • For patties :
  • egg - 1 large (If egg is small use 2 ) 
  • onion - 1 tablespoon finely chopped 
  • green chilly - 1 small finely chopped 
  • capsicum - 1 tablespoon finely chopped 
  • tomato - 1 tablespoon finely chopped 
  • Corn flour - 1 teaspoon 
  • salt to taste 
  • pepper to taste 
  • oil - 1 tablespoon 

How to make Egg Burger

  1. Firstly, in a sauce pan add some water and add one egg and bring to boil till it hard boiled. Remove shell and cut the egg into halves. Keep aside. 
  2. For the patties, break the egg in a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients mentioned in list except oil and mix well to incorporate them nicely. 
  3. Heat the oil in a pan. Reduce the heat add the egg mixture to it and make a round disc from the mixture. Cook in low-medium heat till golden on both sides. 
  4. Now for layering the burger, cut the burger bun into two. Apply the sandwich spread on both the sides of the bun. 
  5. Lay the lettuce, over it lay one cheese slice followed by the egg patties. 
  6. Spread some tomato ketchup over it and then layer it with onion, capsicums, cucumber and tomato slices. 
  7. Spread some tomato ketchup and lay the other cheese slice followed by one halve egg and cover the bun with the other halve. 
  8. Heat a pan or tawa, reduce the heat and add the burger bun, cover the pan and let it stand for 2-3 minutes, the cheese will start to melt, take off the heat. 
  9. Garnish with other halve egg and serve.
