Bourbon kulfis

Ingredients to make Bourbon kulfis

  • Milk - 1 litre
  • sugar - 1/4th cup
  • Milkmaid condensed milk - 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • cornflour - 1 tsp
  • Bourbon biscuits - 6

How to make Bourbon kulfis

  1. Boil the milk and simmer it while it reduces to half the volume. Keep stirring.
  2. Now add the sugar, and mix till it dissolves.
  3. Then add the vanilla extract, the milk maid and mix.
  4. Dissolve the cornflour in little milk and mix it with the milk mixture. Boil till it becomes thick and coats the back of the spoon, switch off the flame and cool it.
  5. Once the mixture comes to room temperature, crush the bourbon biscuits and add it to the milk mixture.
  6. Pour it into kulfi moulds or desserts glasses and chill for atleast 5-6 hrs. Serve.
