Chocolate Mexican Flan

Ingredients to make Chocolate Mexican Flan

  • egg - 1
  • Vanilla essence - 2-3 drops
  • Powder sugar - 2 tsp
  • Dark chocolate - 30 gm
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Agar agar - 2 tsp
  • For chocolate sauce: Fresh cream - 100 gm
  • Dark chocolate - 50 gm
  • cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp

How to make Chocolate Mexican Flan

  1. Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave.
  2. Beat egg, vanilla essence and sugar altogether.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Pour melted chocolate in this batter.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Boil milk in a pan and add agar agar to it.
  7. Simmer the gas.
  8. Cook continuously.
  9. When the milk begins thick pour this into the chocolate mixture.
  10. Beat all the things together.
  11. Strain in a mould.
  12. Set it aside.
  13. Keep the mould in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.
  14. Now make the chocolate sauce.
  15. Boil fresh cream in a pan and add dark chocolate.
  16. Stir continuously.
  17. Add a little bit of milk to make a thick sauce of right consistency.
  18. Add cinnamon powder to it.
  19. Now take a plate and unmould the chocolate flan.
  20. Pour the chocolate sauce on it.
  21. Chocolate Mexican Flan is ready.

My Tip:

We can also bake it without agar agar.
