Ingredients to make Coconut Chips

  • coconut 1 thinly sliced in 1 inch size
  • Brown sugar 4 tsp
  • cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • coconut oil 2 tsp

How to make Coconut Chips

  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Add the coconut and roast in low-medium flame stirring continuously to prevent from burning and even roasting.
  3. When the coconut starts to brown which will take around 5-10 mins add the sugar and cinnamon and mix well and roast for 3-5 mins and take off the heat.
  4. Let it cool down completely and serve it or store in air tight container.

My Tip:

Preferably use dry coconut if not go for fresh coconut
