Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Gram flour( besan) 2 cup
  2. Yougurt beaten 1 cup
  3. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  4. ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  5. Green chili paste 1/2 tsp
  6. sugar 2 tsp
  7. salt as per taste
  8. oil 1 tbsp
  9. Grated coconut 2 tbsp
  10. curry leaves
  11. Black mustard seed 1 tsp
  12. lemon juice 1 tsp
  13. Soda bi carbonate 1 tsp


  1. In a bowl add gram flour, salt, sugar, yogurt, turmeric powder, ginger paste, green chili paste, lemon juice together and beat it.
  2. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  3. Add soda bi carbonate ad mix it.
  4. In a microwave proof bowl grease some oil and pour the batter.
  5. Cook it in micro full power for 6 min.
  6. Heat 1 tsp oil add mustard seed and curry leaves. Fry a little. Add this over the cooked dhokla.
  7. Spread grated coconut.
  8. Serve with tamarind chutney.
