Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. green sprout (pacha payaru) 2 1/2 cup
  2. Pepper 2 tsp
  3. lime 1 nos.
  4. coriander leaves little
  5. salt as per taste
  6. Sugar a pinch
  7. onion (optional) 1 medium size
  8. green chilli (optional) 2-3 nos
  9. pomegranate (optional) 1 small


  1. Soak green gram for 4-6 hours in water
  2. Drain the water and set aside for next 4 hours or until it has sprouts
  3. chop onion, green chillies to small pieces
  4. Add the chopped items to sprouts
  5. You can also add pomegranate or orange or carrots finely chopped to the sprouts
  6. Add salt, pepper and pinch of sugar
  7. while serving squeeze lime and garnish with fresh cilantro
