Instant Phirni

Ingredients to make Instant Phirni

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup of chilled milk
  • 1/2 cup of condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp of warm milk to soak the saffron strands (take 10-12 strands of saffron)
  • A pinch of elaichi powder
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mixed dry nuts

How to make Instant Phirni

  1. In a small bowl, soak the saffron with warm milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Now blend together the cooked rice, chilled milk, condensed milk and saffron milk together in a grinder and form a smooth paste.
  3. Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dried nuts and elaichi powder.
  4. Serve it chilled or as required.

My Tip:

The rice should be well cooked. You can use leftover rice as well and give any other flavour of your choice.
