Idli Dhokla

Ingredients to make Idli Dhokla

  • 1 cup besan/ Bengal Gram
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp rava
  • 1 sachet eno salt
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt as per taste
  • Few curry leaves

How to make Idli Dhokla

  1. Take a bowl, add in the bengal flour, curd, rava, salt and mix it well. Pour in water if required and make a smooth batter.
  2. Grease an idli mould and keep it aside.
  3. Add eno into the dhokla batter and pour this batter into the idli mould. Steam it in the microvave for 4 minutes.
  4. Take a pan, add some oil to heat, once the oil becomes hot then add in the mustard seeds, curry leaves and lemon juice. Spread it on the idli dhokla.
  5. Serve it instantly.

My Tip:

You can add eno salt when the idli mould is ready.
