ABOUT Smoked Bajri Roti RECIPE

It's pearl millet roti with green garlic.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups bajri flour
  2. Salt as per taste
  3. Green garlic 1 tbsp
  4. 3 green chillies
  5. 3 tbsp ghee
  6. 2 tbsp Oil
  7. 1 tsp jeera

Instructions

  1. Add salt to the flour and make the bajri rotis from it. Then let these rotis cool and make small pieces of it.
  2. Take a pan. Add ghee and oil to it. Then add in the jeera, slit green chillies, chopped green garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add in the bajri roti and make a hole by pushing the rotis to the sides.
  3. Heat the coal piece on gas. Once properly heated, put it in a bowl and place in between the bajri roti.
  4. Put a little ghee on the burnt coal. Now cover it and let it stand for few minutes. It will give a wonderful smoky smell.
