ABOUT Ghutto and bajri ki roti RECIPE

Ghutto is mix bhaji sabji which can be made without oil and it is a traditional dish of saurashtra.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Indgredients for ghutto..
  2. 1 cup methi bhaji (finely chopped)
  3. 1 cup palakh bhaji (finely chopped)
  4. 2 cup suva bhaji (finely chopped)
  5. 1 cup muli (radish) bhaji( finely chopped)
  6. 1 cup green onion with leaves ( finely chopped)
  7. 1/2 cup bottle guard ( finely chopped)
  8. 1/2 cup bringle ( finely chopped)
  9. 4 green chillies
  10. 1 tbsp crushed green garlic
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1 tbsp dhaniya jeera powder
  13. 2 tbsp coriander ( finely chopped)
  14. Indgredients for banti roti..
  15. 1 cup bajri flour
  16. Salt to taste
  17. 1 tspn oil ( optional)
  18. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Wash all the vegetables and finely chop them.
  2. Mix all the finely chopped vegetables in a cooker with some salt.
  3. Add 1 glass water and keep on the gas till 6 to 7 whistles..Keep cooker aside and let it cool...After cooling it grind with the help of a blender.
  4. Now add dhaniya jeera powder and finely chopped coriander...Bhaji is ready
  5. For bajri roti...Take 1 cup bajri flour in a bowl and add pinch of salt and 1 tspn oil and make soft dough. Make chapati with the help of palm ( you can use a rolling pin too)...Roast the roti on tava ( method is just like wheat roti)... Serve with hot ghutta
