ABOUT Sesame Podi/Dry Chutney RECIPE

A very easy and quick sesame seeds dry powder or chutney which goes very well with rice and breakfast recipes like idlis, dosas or wadas.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sesame seeds - 1 cup
  2. Red chillies - 10 to 11
  3. oil to fry the chillies

Instructions

  1. Take seasame seeds in a pan
  2. Dry roast till it gets a nice golden brown colour
  3. Remove and keep aside to cool
  4. Now fry the red chillies and keep aside to cool
  5. Grind the roasted sesame seeds and chillies together.
  6. Transfer to a plate. Store in a jar when cold. It can be stored for a week or more.
