Ingredients to make Flax seeds Thepala. (A healthy Start Of the day. )

  • wheat flour 1 1/2 cup.
  • gram flour 1/2 cup.
  • Flax seeds 1 tbsp
  • pudina 25 to 30 leaves.
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds 2 tsp
  • garlic crushed 1 tsp
  • ginger grated 1tsp
  • curd 3 tsp
  • Salt, turmeric, chilli powder to taste.
  • Oil while kneading flour 1 tbsp
  • oil for shallow frying.

How to make Flax seeds Thepala. (A healthy Start Of the day. )

  1. Mix the flours. Add Flax seeds, Sesame seeds, Ajwain, Garlic, Ginger and mix well.
  2. Chop Mint leaves fine and add. Add curd, masala and 1 tbsp oil.
  3. Knead the flour,cover and keep for 10 minutes. Now knead again and make balls of equal sizes.
  4. Roll round Thepala and fry like Paratha.
  5. Serve with a hot cup of Tea or Coffee.

My Tip:

You can add any leafy vegetables in this. Like Spinach leaves, Muli , Methi etc. But Pudina tastes excellent .
