Paneer and Veg Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Paneer and Veg Fried Rice

  • Basmati rice - 1 big cup ( cooked & kept aside )
  • paneer - 200 gms cut into small cubes
  • onion - 2 cut fine
  • tomato - 1 chopped small
  • ginger - half inch piece finely chopped
  • green chilly - 1 finely chopped
  • garlic- 1 big pod finely chopped
  • capsicum - 1 small cut into small pieces
  • Sweet corn - 1 / 4 th cup
  • carrot - 1 chopped small
  • Mexican seasoning - abt 2 tspn (adjust to taste )
  • tomato ketchup - 1 tbspn
  • pepper powder- half tspn
  • turmeric pwdr - 1 / 4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • butter - 1 tbspn
  • oil - 2 tspn
  • coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Paneer and Veg Fried Rice

  1. Take a big kadai or pan. Heat it.
  2. Put butter and oil
  3. Then add chopped onions saute well for 2 minutes
  4. Add chopped ginger, green chilly and garlic.
  5. Cook till raw smell goes
  6. Then add the dry masalas
  7. Add chopped tomato, ketchup and vegetables and Saute well
  8. Now add the paneer cubes. Put salt
  9. When cooked, add the rice and gently mix all ingredients till it gets coated well.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves
  11. Serve hot with ketchup or raita
