Ingredients to make Kadi Badam Drink

  • almonds -100 gm
  • sugar- 5 tbsp (or according to taste)
  • Pure ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 1 glass
  • saffron 6-7 strings
  • pistachio -2 tbsp

How to make Kadi Badam Drink

  1. Soak almonds overnight.
  2. Remove skin from the almonds
  3. Now make coarsely paste of almonds in mixer grinder ( should not make fine paste).
  4. Take a pan and melt the pure ghee on slow flame.
  5. Add the almonds paste in hot ghee and roast for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Now add milk in it and let it boil for 15 minutes on slow flame.
  7. Add sugar and boil till it dissolves
  8. Add small pieces of pistachio and saffron for beautiful colour and taste.
  9. Switch off the gas stove and let it cool for five minutes.
  10. Your kadi badam drink is ready.
  11. Now serve hot or cool in short glasses.
  12. Shelf life 2 days.

My Tip:

Decorate it with a little honey and small pieces of nuts if serving cold
