Ingredients to make Sweet Kanji (Ganji)

  • rice 1 cup
  • moong dal (whole or split) 3/4 cup
  • jaggery 3/4 Cup
  • Fresh coconut (Grated) 1/2 cup
  • salt 1tsp
  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • water 4-5 cups

How to make Sweet Kanji (Ganji)

  1. Wash and drain the rice and moong dal. .
  2. Pressure cook the rice and moong dal with enough water and salt for 10 minutes.
  3. Once done, add the grated jaggery and coconut and mix well.
  4. Drizzle little ghee on top.
  5. Serve hot.
