Italian Burgizza

Ingredients to make Italian Burgizza

  • maida- 1 cup
  • Sesame oil - 1 tsp
  • salt- Required
  • sugar- A pinch
  • yeast - 1/2 tsp with few drops of warm milk
  • Mozerella cheese
  • onions - Finely chopped
  • capsicum - Red, yellow and green - 1
  • tomato Sauce
  • Herbs

How to make Italian Burgizza

  1. For dough, mix Maida, Salt, Sugar, Oil and yeast mixed with warm milk to a stiff, soft dough. Wrap it with moist cloth and rest for an hour
  2. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees C
  3. Finely chop onions, Capsicums and keep aside
  4. To make the Mini Burgizza base, take a small ball of dough and roll it to the size of your palm. Make as necessary. Prick the bases with a folk
  5. Bake the bases in the oven for 8 minutes at 150°c
  6. Remove the bases from the oven to warm.
  7. Spread Tomato sauce on two bases. Over one base, place the chopped onions and Capsicums.
  8. Grate mozzarella cheese as required over the veggies and cover it with another base carefully
  9. Bake the prepared Burgizza for 10 minutes at 150°c (Till cheese melts)
  10. Remove from Oven and serve Hot with sprinkled herbs on top.

My Tip:

Veggies are optional where you can replace them with Mushrooms, Corn, Paneer, etc., You can also make as many layers you want. Rop them with your favourite herbs
