Ingredients to make Potato Nest

  • For the nests
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp cornflour
  • oil for frying
  • For Filling
  • 1 cup sprouts
  • 12 tsp red chilly powder
  • 12 tsp dry mango powder
  • 1 cup curd
  • 12 tsp cumin powder
  • salt

How to make Potato Nest

  1. Grate the potato in water.
  2. Take out the grated potatoes after washing them 2-3 times in running water.
  3. Then squeeze the grated potatoes and take out the water as much as possible.
  4. Then sprinkle the cornflour on the grated potatoes.
  5. Take a steel tea strainer and place a handful of grated potatoes on it.
  6. Cover the strainer on all sides.
  7. Then take a round spatula of the size of strainer.
  8. Place the spatula on the top.
  9. Now in this position place it in the hot oil.
  10. After 2 min the potatoes will turn golden brown.
  11. Now allow it to cool down. After 2 min the nest will come out easily
  12. Take sprouts in a bowl, add red chilly powder and dry mango powder.
  13. Place 2 tbsp sprouts in the nest.
  14. Put plain curd on the top.
  15. Sprinkle red chilly powder and cumin powder on top.

My Tip:

You can store fried nests for 8 days.
