  • sugar -1cup
  • water-1/2 cup
  • egg white-4
  • lemon juice-1/2 tablespoon

How to make Italian meringue

  1. In a saucepan combine sugar and water and make syrup.
  2. In a glass bowl add egg white and lemon juice and whisk it until soft peaks form .
  3. Now carefully start adding hot sugar syrup and whisk until desired stiffness is achieved.
