Ingredients to make Masala Chips

  • potatoes as needed
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder a tbsp
  • turmeric a pinch
  • Chat masala a tsp

How to make Masala Chips

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into round slices into semi thick ones. Not too thick nor too thin.
  2. Soak them in ice cold water for 30 mins. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil and as soon as the oil gets heated, add all the ingredients into a bowl with potatoes and mix well.
  4. Deep fry immediately.
  5. Serve with ketchup or any dip.

My Tip:

Fry them immediately without waiting. Potatoes have a tendency to lose water, therefore it is highly recommended to fry them immediately.
