Corn Moussaka

Ingredients to make Corn Moussaka

  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 1/2 cup. mushroom sauteed
  • 1/2 cup broccoli sauteed
  • 1/2 cup macaroni
  • 1 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 3tbsp oil
  • 1tsp crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • Grated onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon, pepper, thyme, oregano
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1cup water
  • For the topping -
  • 1 1/2 cup Grated paneer
  • 1 1/4 cup thick white sauce
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese

How to make Corn Moussaka

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the garlic, add onion and fry till golden brown.
  2. Add the flour and fry till golden brown. Add in tomato juice, tomato ketchup, water, salt and spices. Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add corn, mushroom, broccoli, capsicum and macaroni.
  4. Spread the mixture in an 8" diameter round or square dish. In a blender , blend the paneer and white sauce. Pour the sauce mixture on the tomato mix.
  5. Bake at 150 degrees C for 10 minutes. Remove and sprinkle the cheese and a few drops of salad oil. Bake again for 8-10 minutes till the cheese turns golden brown. Serve with garlic bread.

My Tip:

It is a complete nutritious meal. To make it healthier you can substitute the flour with whole wheat flour.
