Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Brinjal...1(big)
  2. Tomato...1
  3. Chopped Capsicum...1
  4. Paste of tomato...2(for tomato sauce)
  5. Red chilli powder...1tspn
  6. Chaat masala...1tspn
  7. Chickpeas...1bowl( for chana masala)
  8. Chopped Onion...1
  9. Ginger garlic paste...1tspn
  10. Curd...3tspn
  11. Cumin powder...1tspn
  12. Red chilli powder...1tspn
  13. turmeric powder...1tspn
  14. Salt
  15. Sugar...1/2tspn

Instructions

  1. Wash the brinjals & cut them striped.Cut it into slices also.
  2. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder & turmeric powder & shallow fry it for few mins.It can be baked also.
  3. Fry both side.
  4. Brinjal fry is ready.
  5. Now make chana masala.Heat oil, add cumin seeds & kasuri methi.Saute it for a while.
  6. When u feel the aroma, add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste.
  7. After few minutes,add curd & all spices.
  8. Add boiled chana now.
  9. Add salt, sugar & some hot water.Cover it & let it cook for sometime.
  10. After few minutes when the gravy is adjust ,switch off the flame.
  11. Make tomato sauce now. With tomato paste add salt, red chilli, chaat masala, sugar & water.
  12. Take a plate.Place one fried brinjal on it, put two tbspn chana masala on it.Place one tomato slice over it & cover it with another fried brinjal.
  13. Pour the tomato sauce over it & micro it for few minutes.
  14. Serve it with any of your favourite indian bread.
