Ingredients to make Bread Pakodas

  • For Filling -
  • One medium size boiled potato
  • salt
  • ginger paste 1tsp
  • chilly paste 1tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • For batter -
  • chana atta 15 tbsp or as per required
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • salt Pinch
  • hing pinch
  • jeera seeds 1tsp
  • water as required to make batter
  • Four bread slice
  • Cooking soda a pinch
  • oil for frying
  • To serve tomato sauce and green chutney

How to make Bread Pakodas

  1. For filling -
  2. Boil the potato
  3. Add salt
  4. add Ginger and chilly paste
  5. add chopped coriander leaves
  6. For batter -
  7. Take Chana atta
  8. Add turmeric
  9. add hing , jeera seeds , salt
  10. add coriander leaves
  11. Add a pinch soda and add 1tsp oil
  12. Add water and mix well like bhajiya batter
  13. Take slices of bread, add the potato filling
  14. Cover with another slice on top
  15. Cut into two pieces (triangle shape or any other shape)
  16. Dip the triangle bread slice with filling into the batter
  17. And deep fry till brown
  18. Serve with a mixture of tomato sauce and chutney

My Tip:

You may spread chutney or ketchup in slices before adding the filling. You can also add cucumber slice if you want. You can also take a bread slice add potato filling cut into a triangle add batter only on the top of the filling and deep fry.
