Bread pakodas are so famous and this is how I make these delicious snacks at home.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Besan-1/2katori
  2. Ajwain-a pinch
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Black pepper powder-1/2teaspoon
  5. Coriander powder-1/2teaspoon
  6. Chat masala-optional as per taste
  7. Wheat bread slices-3cut in small rectangles
  8. Oil for shallow frying on non stick tawa
  9. Water for batter


  1. Make a smoothmedium batter of coating consistency.
  2. Now dip each rectangle in the batter.
  3. Now heat oil in anon stick tawa
  4. Roast these bread rectangles from both the sidesi till golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with tea or coffee and sauce or chuttney. Thanks Madhu rai kalra
