Chikku Sheera

Ingredients to make Chikku Sheera

  • semolina - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • Chikku pulp - 1 cup
  • ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Warm water - 3/4 cup
  • Warm milk - 3/4 cup

How to make Chikku Sheera

  1. Heat kadai. Add ghee. Roast semolina till you get a nice aroma.
  2. Add water and milk. Mix well.
  3. Add sugar and chikku pulp. Saute till everything blends well.

My Tip:

To get chikku pulp, select the sweet ripe chikku. Wash the chikku fruit and remove the skin and seeds. Mash it in a blender or hand to get pulp.
