Eggless Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Cake

  • 2 cups maida
  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • I cup sugar
  • I cup cream
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cup warm milk(for mixing)
  • 1 tea spoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda(baking)
  • 1 teaspoon pineapple or vanilla essence
  • 4 drops of lemon juice
  • Tutti frutti(optional)
  • almonds
  • ghee as required for greasing

How to make Eggless Cake

  1. Firstly preheat microwave at 175 degrees Celsius for 11 minutes.
  2. Sieve mixture of maida, milk powder and sugar three times.
  3. Take warm milk in a bowl, add above mixture (maida, milk powder and sugar),fresh cream,baking powder, baking soda, pineapple essence or vanilla essence, lemon juice
  4. Mix well, there should be no lumps in the cake batter. Spread almonds or tutty fruity on top (optional).
  5. Grease the container with ghee. Pour the cake batter into container and microwave it at 175degree Celsius for 45 minutes
  6. Remove it from oven after 5 minutes Cut into desired pieces and serve

My Tip:

There should be no lumps in the cake batter. Do not use more than 4 drops of lemon juice

The cake should be baked on microwave mode or convection mode..please help

Both modes serves the same purpose.Itdepends on your convection oven. Typically, the recommended temperature when using convention is 25 degrees less than the recipe's temperature. MY convection oven automatically reduces the temperature, so I usually reduce the cooking time by 5 minutes.
