A Tangy and delicious Mixed fruit Relish made with kiwi ,oranges,peach,plum ,apple ,mango and grapes

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. 4 kiwi
  2. 2 oranges
  3. 2 plums
  4. 2 peaches
  5. 2 red apples
  6. 1 Green apple
  7. 1 Raw mango
  8. 2 tbsp black raisins/kishmish
  9. 1 tbsp chili flakes
  10. 1 tbsp ginger chopped
  11. 1 cup sugar
  12. 1 tsp chili powder
  13. 1/3 tsp garam masala
  14. 2.5 tbsp White vinegar
  15. 2 tbsp cooking oil
  16. 1 tsp cumin /jeera
  17. 1 inch cinnamon /daalchini
  18. 4 Green cardamom
  19. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel,deseed and chop orange into small pieces. Peel,core and chop apples into small pieces. Peel and chop kiwi ,peach ,raw mango and plum.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and add cumin and when it starts to crackle add cardamom and cinnamon.
  3. Now add all the chopped fruits and 3 tbsps of water.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat till apples become soft .
  5. Now add sugar, ginger and all the spices and simmer till it starts to thicken.
  6. Let it cool down completely and then store in a glass bottle Keep refrigerated .
