Ingredients to make Vegetable Makhanwala

  • carrots diced 1 cup
  • cauliflower chopped 1/2 cup
  • capsicum chopped 1/2 cup
  • peas shelled 1 cup
  • beans chopped 1/2 cup
  • onions 3 (chopped)
  • tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • butter 1 stick
  • oil
  • salt to taste
  • Kasuri methi 1/2 tbsp
  • haldi 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh cream/malai 1 cup

How to make Vegetable Makhanwala

  1. Take a deep pan. Saute onions in butter
  2. Add tomatoes to translucent onions and add the masalas. Saute till they cook properly
  3. Let the mixture cool. transfer it to a blender and make a paste
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add remaining veggies. Cook till tender.
  5. Add tomato-onion paste to cooked veggies. Add cream and serve
