Bhel Puri

Ingredients to make Bhel Puri

  • 2 cups puffed rice
  • 1/4 cup coriander/green chutney(buy readymade or make your own)
  • 1 cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup papdi(optional)
  • 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup sev
  • bunch of coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • pinch of black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala

How to make Bhel Puri

  1. Heat a pan and roast puffed rice, cook until they become crisp.
  2. Take a large bowl.Transfer puffed rice into the bowl and add cucumber, tomato, onion, papdis, peanuts.Top with coriander chutney, lemon juice, rock salt, chilli powder and chaat masala.
  3. Granish the bhel puri with sev and coriander leaves and serve.

My Tip:

Its best to assemble bhelpuri at the very last minute so that it is fresh and crisp, do not assemble or store beforehand.
