Ingredients to make Oats Coconut Cookies

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Fresh shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Quick-cooking oats
  • 2-3 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Toned milk 1 tbsp (if required)

How to make Oats Coconut Cookies

  1. Preheat oven at 350 degree Centigrade for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. Stir in coconut and oats.
  4. Add in oil and honey.
  5. Mix well with a spatula to bring them together (do not knead).
  6. If the mixture is too dry add 1 tbsp of milk to it.
  7. Make some small balls of the mixture, flatten it and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Let it cool and serve with a glass of milk.

My Tip:

Keep an eye on the cookies after 10 minutes, depending on oven temperature. Timing may vary slightly so check after 10 minutes.
