#Paneer Jalfrezi

Ingredients to make #Paneer Jalfrezi

  • Paneer ( cottage cheese) 200 gm
  • onions sliced 1 cup
  • capsicum 1
  • tomato 1
  • ginger paste 1 tesp
  • green chillies 2
  • tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tesp
  • Fresh cream 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/2 tesp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tesp
  • coriander powder 3/4th tesp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tesp
  • Kasuri methi 1 tesp
  • oil 2 tbsp

How to make #Paneer Jalfrezi

  1. In a microwave safe dish take oil and cumin seeds. Micro on high for 30 - 40 seconds.
  2. Add sliced onions. Toss well. Micro for 3 minutes. Stiring once in between.
  3. Add ginger paste and chopped green chillies. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder.Mix well. Micro for 30 seconds.
  4. Slice capsicum length wise and add to onions. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup, fresh cream and crushed kasuri methi. Stir well. Micro for 2 minutes on high. Stiring once in between.
  5. Cut tomato into thick julliens. Cut paneer into 2 inches long sticks. Add tomato and paneer to gravy. Mix gently. Micro for 1 minute.
  6. Spicy tangy paneer jalfrezi is ready to serve.
