ABOUT Strawberry Mousse RECIPE

This is a light & refreshing dessert to be served during dinner parties.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whipping cream 1 big bowl.
  2. Fresh strawberries 12 - 15
  3. sugar 3-4 tbsps
  4. Gelatine 1 tbsp
  5. Chocolate for garnishing (optional)


  1. Take a big vessel filled with ice. On top of it keep the bowl of whipping cream and whip it with electric beater.
  2. Whip for arnd 5-7 mins till it forms peaks. Do not over whip the cream.
  3. In a pan put chopped strawberries and sugar and cook till it turns into a puree.
  4. Let this puree come down to room temperature. Don't add hot puree to whipped cream.
  5. In a small bowl take 1 & 1/2 spoons of warm water and mix gelatin to it.
  6. Now keeping the whipped cream on ice mix very lightly the strawberry puree and gelatin into cream.
  7. Use cut and fold method to mix the cream.
  8. Pour this mixture into a glass bowl and refrigerate for few hours to set.
  9. Garnish with chocolate shavings and strawberry pieces after it is set.
