Meetha pitha is famous in the northern parts of India, but this pitha is a bit different as i have given it a twist by adding gajar ka halwa as stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Filling: 2 cup Leftover gajar ka halwa
  2. 2 cup rice flour
  3. 2/4 tbsp powder sugar
  4. Boiled water( for making dough)
  5. Clarified butter
  6. 1 Ltr Milk
  7. 1/2 cup Sugar
  8. Dry fruits


  1. Boil water.
  2. In a bowl put rice flour and powdered sugar with the help of boiled water make a dough. Now take clarified butter in hand and with the help of it make soft dough and keep aside.
  3. Now take dough and make small balls.
  4. Take a ball make small bowl of it with the help of your hands and fill the fillings in the center of the dough and close it from all sides and give a ball shape. Make others also in same way.
  5. Boil milk add sugar and dryfruits, boil till it gets 1/2 NOw add the balls and cook till the pithas float.
  6. Take out and serve.
