Fruit Custard

Ingredients to make Fruit Custard

  • 2 tsp vanilla custard powder
  • 1 jelly packet [Strawberry flavour]
  • 3cups milk for custard
  • 2tsp sugar
  • Fruits :
  • 2bananas chopped
  • 10-15 green grapes
  • 1apple chopped
  • 3oranges cut in halves

How to make Fruit Custard

  1. Boil the milk and let it simmer and reduce a bit, keep a little milk aside prior to this and dissolve the custard powder in that. Add sugar and custard + milk slurry into the simmering milk, let this bubble up and thicken to form a custard. cool it a bit and refrigerate to chill. Make the jelly as per the instructions mentioned on the packet.
  2. Mix all fruits in the custard
  3. Cut jelly in cubes & mix it with the custard
  4. Mix well
  5. Now serve them in bowls with a wafer biscuit
