Nishamadhulika ji is one of my favourite chef. Whenever I want to try a mithai, I trust her recipie. This is one of the mithais which I took from her blog.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. besan - 1 cup
  2. sugar - 1
  3. Desi ghee - 2 tbsp
  4. Khoya - 1/2 cup
  5. dry fruits as per one's choice
  6. Choti Elaichi/ Green cardamom - 2
  7. Milk - 1 cup


  1. Take besan in a bowl, mix in ghee and milk. Make a soft dough and keep aside.
  2. In a separate pan boil water and sugar together till you get a one-thread consistency.
  3. Chop all the dry fruits, mix in the chashni and keep aside. Add the cardamom also.
  4. Take a kadhai and heat leftover desi ghee, fry besan dough till it changes color and aroma begins to spread.
  5. Put khoya into it and mix well.
  6. Add chashni into it and mix them well.
  7. Take a thali, spread ghee in thali. Pour this mixture into it. Sprinkle dry fruits over it, dab it with a spoon and let it cool
  8. Cut it into pieces and enjoy
