Ingredients to make Dum paneer!!

  • Cottage chesse 250gms
  • Fresh cream one cup
  • onions 2 [blended into a paste]
  • oil
  • bay leaf - 1
  • cardamom pods - 2
  • cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • green chilly - 2
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1/4 th tsp

How to make Dum paneer!!

  1. Heat some oil in a pan, add the bay leaf and let it roast. add the cumin seeds followed by the onion paste.
  2. Brown the paste, then add the ginger garlic paste, Saute for few minutes and then add the powdered masalas, and salt.
  3. now add the cream, followed by the paneer cubes. close the lid and let this cook on dum, on a low flame for 20 minutes. open the lid, sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
